Sailing

For January 1996:

ST129J  Sailing.  This course will explore the many aspects of sailing as a
human experience: sailing as history, science, engineering, technique,
competition, exploration, philosophy, psychology, business, craft, and
song.  The course will comprise readings, lectures, videos, outside
speakers, visits to a sailmaker and boatbuilder. Three credit hours.  Mr.
